VFW Auxiliary/ American Legion Auxiliary

There will be no VFW Auxiliary or American Legion Auxiliary meetings held in July or August.

Kiwanis Burgers

7-8. Malta Kiwanis will be selling burgers, hot dogs, chips, and other goodies at the Friday, July 8 Talent Show. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Kiwanis funds continue to support various youth projects in the Malta community. We thank you for your support.

PC Historical Society

7-11. Phillips County Historical Society Meeting will be held Monday, July 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the Phillips County Museum. Everyone welcome.

MT Veteran Affairs

7-14. On Thursday, July 14, Judy or Steve, service officers for Montana Veteran Affairs, will be at Malta City Hall from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. If you would like to apply for benefits with the VA please come at the appointed time and bring a copy of your discharge/separation (DD214) papers with you. Watershed Meeting

7-7. The Milk River Watershed will be holding their quarterly meeting at the Tin Cup on Thursday, July 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, contact Jenifer Anderson at 654-1334 ext. 101.

Gems and Mineral Presentation

7-8. Mitch and Annie Blatter will be hosting a Gems and Minerals Presentation at the Phillips County Museum on Friday, July 8 starting at 2 p.m. The event is free to the public.

Dirt Daubers meeting

7-11. Malta Dirt Daubers will meet on Monday, July 11 at 6 p.m. at the Tin Cup. Following a no--host dinner and meeting, Kathy Waters, Montana State Butterfly Chairman will give a program about attracting butterflies to one's garden and yard. Public always welcome.

Senior Citizen’s Potluck Dinner

7-16. The Senior Citizen’s Potluck dinner will be held at the Malta Senior Center on Saturday, July 16 from 11:30 until 1:30 p.m. Hot dogs and buns furnished. Bring your favorite dessert and enjoy our air-conditioned building. A freewill offering will be held with proceeds going towards building improvements.

7-15/16. MHS Class of 1976 will be celebrating their 40th Reunion the weekend of July 15 & 16, 2016. We will be socializing Friday night at the Mint Bar and invited friends and family to stop by then or connect with us any time throughout the weekend.
