Cheryl Voegel selected as Person of Influence

At the June 21 Member's Meeting the Chamber of Commerce recognized its quarterly Person of Influence. This quarter's honors go to Cheryl Voegel of Albertson's. Cheryl was nominated and selected by the Chamber Members to receive this award because of her continuous efforts to go above and beyond in any situation, in or outside of work. Some examples of how Cheryl makes a difference in our community are, by taking her own time to deliver groceries to shut-ins, donating to many causes throughout town, and contributing to events at the schools. All this, while managing a workforce that grew from 30 to 70 employees in the last year. Cheryl is truly an asset to our community.

This Chamber program strives to honor and recognize those individuals in the Malta and Phillips County area who make this area a great place to live and work; whose contributions may otherwise go unknown. You need not be a Chamber member to be nominated someone or to be recognized as a Person of Influence. Nominations for our September award are now open.
