Mustang Foundation receives a $3,000 grant from TransCanada

The Mustang Foundation Board decided to open the money from TransCanada to Malta School educators. A request was written by several educators to receive the money for supplies.

Pictured at the High School are Principal Scott King, and recipients-Katie Skiff, Nick Oxarart and Sue Gilkerson. Katie Skiff and Sue Gilkerson represent the four Chromebooks valued at $1,000 for the Resource Rooms. Nick Oxarart was awarded $1,200 towards math supplies.

Pictured at the Elementary School are 1st Grade teachers-Heidi Lulloff and Cindy Christman, awarded $1,127 for books for their students. Principal Tad Schye, 5th Grade teacher, Julie Henry and Resource teacher, Meagan Bleth. Julie Henry received about $250 towards books for her Reading classrooms and Meagan Bleth received about $500 towards two Chromebooks for her classroom. third grade teacher, Stacie Simanton received about $140 toward music for learning in her classroom.

The Mustang Foundation added some money toward these gifts so that Malta Educators could get something they will use in their classrooms.

Also, last fall, the Mustang Foundation donated $5,000 towards Chromebooks at the Elementary School. The Foundation has their Membership-Drive dinner at the GN this year on August 13th. Please see a board member for tickets.
