Loring Vol. Fire Dept Raffle

The winners of the 2016 Loring Volunteer Fire Department's Raffle were; 1st Prize, Sporter # 3 Heidi Doney of Malta, 2nd Prize .243 Ruger was Josh Thompson, Glasgow and 3rd Prize, $100 gift certificate, was awarded to Joe Palm of Saco.

AA Meeting

Saturdays. The Outback AA Meeting is held every Saturday at 4 p.m. at 139 9th St. SW in Malta.

Men’s Golf League

Marian Hills Men’s League will be holding an organizational meeting on Thursday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in the clubhouse of Marian Hills.

All interested men’s league golfers are welcome to attend. Golfers need to be signed up to play league by April 15. Contact Bob Galt to sign up.

Gopher poisoning in Malta

The City of Malta will be poisoning the gophers in Trafton and Riverview Parks. All poison will be placed underground. Do not let your pets run at large in these areas because your pets could come in contact with the poison and/or poisoned gophers.

Wine and Watercolors

3-23. Art Spot will be hosting Wine and Watercolors - Adult Coloring Pages at the Tin Cup on Wednesday, March 23 starting at 6 p.m. For ticket information contact Kathy at 654-1523.

Library closed

3-26. The Phillips County Library will be CLOSED on Saturday, March 26, for the Easter Holiday.

Dial Screening

3-23. Dial Screening will be Wednesday, March 23 at 8:30 a.m. at the Malta Lutheran Church. Please call the grade school at 654-2320 for an appointment.

Good Friday Reflective

3-25. Phillips County Ministerial Association is hosting its annual Good Friday Reflective Service March 25. The Good Friday Reflective worship begins at Kirkwood Memorial Chapel at noon.

Malta Easter Egg Hunt

3-26. The Malta Rotary Club will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt at Riverview Park on Saturday, March 26 at 10 a.m. for children up to age 11.

Saco Easter Egg Hunt

3-26. The Saco Chamber of Commerce, Cabin Cafe, Lacey's Place Salon & Spa, and Pippin DJ & Karaoke are sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt at the Saco School playground on Saturday, March 26 at 2 p.m. for all ages through 5th grade.

Wine Auction – One Step Closer

3-28. One Step Closer will be holding an evening to benefit the Ramsey Keller Memorial at Ray J’s BBQ on Monday, March 28 starting at 6 p.m. This foundation has one simple, enduring mission - to pay for infant funerals in the state of Montana. Last year, they paid out over $90,000 to grieving families. OVER $90,000. And with no overhead or administrative costs, every dollar you donate goes straight to this mission. Every. Single. Dollar.

Malta Tennis Table Open

3-26. On Saturday, March 26, there will be a table tennis tournament held at the Old Gym in Malta starting at 9 a.m. There is a $5 fee, sign-up day of the event.

Arthritis Today

3-28. There will be an "Arthritis Today" support group on Monday, March 28 from 3 to 4 p.m. All sessions are FREE and open to the public and held at the PC Health Department, 105 S. 2 E., Malta. Contact Jenny Tollefson at 654-2521.

Grace Fellowship Church Easter Service

3-28. Easter Service at Grace Fellowship Church will be at 10 a.m. Prior to the service is a 9 a.m. continental breakfast.

Bike Maintenance Clinic

4-2. Malta Trails will be holding a basic maintenance and repair clinic for everyone getting those bikes ready for the Spring and Summer season at Bill’s Classic Auto Body & Towing on Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Erik Engebretson will be our instructor for clinic.
