3-2. Congratulations to the North Country Lady Mavericks on their first place finish at Divisionals and all the teams who played.

Dennis Anderson has been visiting his parents, Bobby and Pat Anderson, in Whitewater.

I went to Malta on the P.C. Transit Bus and visited with Jane Thompson, Harriet Wilke, Betty Simpson and some of the bus drivers including Dale Salveson and Leah Shinner. It’s good to see friends.

Dallas and Ashley Green’s family recently visited her family in South Dakota.

Janice R. visited family in Denver.

It was National Cat in Japan Day the other day. (My pet cat thinks every day is THIS day.)

Some Whitewater residents met about the future of the North Forty Cafe recently …but no decision yet.

Some ranchers here are now calving; nice weather for it.

Shirley J. in Saskatchewan, Canada, wrote that they plant lentils and peas. I thought they only planted wheat.

Happy Birthday to the February birthdays. February 29, 2016, was Leap Day! Maybe there is hope for us women? Good luck, haha!

Get well wishes to Ike and Mickey Hellie. Hope you are better.

Reminder: The Lenten Service and Soup Service at Whitewater Lutheran Church is every Wednesday, starting at 6 p.m. from now until Easter. Everyone is welcome.

Whitewater Baptist Church now meets on Thursday at 6 p.m. instead of Wednesday for the mid-week services.

Now that basketball season is almost over, track will begin soon. Good luck to the tracksters and good look to the M-ettes at State in Butte this week.

Sally Austin attended a Council on Aging Meeting recently.

Monika Taylor gave me a ride recently from Malta. She said she and George had been to Ten Sheep (a town) to visit DeSiree and family.

Jeanie Green's daughters and families -- Marissa and Melanie -- visited her.

Whitewater had a little snow but it melted fast. Beautiful day here in Whitewater today.
