PUBLIC NOTICE FOR REFERENDUM ON PROPOSED BISON ORDINANCE 2016-1
Notice is given pursuant to 76-15-701 and -702, MCA, that the Phillips Conservation District supervisors will take action on their intent to order a referendum on proposed ordinance number 2016-1 for protection of water and soil from wild, free roaming or domestic bison grazing in Phillips Conservation District. The supervisors will take action whether to order a referendum at its meeting to be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at the USDA Building Conference Room. A copy of the full ordinance being considered can be obtained by contacting Jenifer Anderson, District Administrator at 1120 Hwy 191 S, Suite 2, Malta, MT, by phone at 654-1334 x 101, or by email at
