February 10, 2016

3:43 a.m. MT Dept of Transportation closed Hwy 191 south to traffic at Joe’s In and Out until the semi-truck and trailer involved in the earlier accident could be removed from the Hwy; Hwy opened back up shortly after it was closed.

8:16 a.m. Local business reported a bus parked across from their building with the stop sign out and lights flashing; no one was in the bus; Deputy responded to the call; driver located and apologized.

2:41 p.m. 911 received reporting a personal vehicle transport of a medical emergency to the PC Hospital; information passed onto the hospital.

5:57 p.m. 911 received reporting a structure fire at a local residence; Deputies and local Fire Dept responded to the call; fire contained and extinguished.

7:40 p.m. Male reported two missing dogs.

8:34 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pickup from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

9:15 p.m. Female reported a suspicious vehicle in the Westside area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not in the area.

9:35 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 2pm Thursday for most of Phillips Co.

11:15 p.m. Male reported finding a dog off of Hwy 191 south.

February 11, 2016

12:42 a.m. Female reported a disturbance in a neighbor’s apartment; Deputies responded to the call; individuals located and advised to keep it down.

2:43 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 2pm Thursday.

7:55 a.m. Male reported finding the dogs he previously reported missing.

10:02 a.m. Local business reported a dog by their building; owner later located and dog returned.

10:24 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female having trouble breathing; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

11:27 a.m. Deputy served a local warrant on one adult male, male later released on own recognizance.

12:03 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory is canceled.

2:30 p.m. BNSF Police requested PCSO assistance with two intoxicated individuals who did not have tickets for the Amtrak train; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; one male removed from the train; second male transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a Havre PD warrant; case file started.

4:23 p.m. Local business reported a suspicious male had just been in their store; Deputy responded to the call; male not located.

6:57 p.m. Male reported a vehicle speeding and passing vehicles on Hwy 2 in the Malta city limits; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; vehicle located and driver cited.

8:19 p.m. 911 received reporting a non-injury, one vehicle rollover on Hwy 191, near Marion Hills; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; MHP handled the crash.

9:58 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance for situation involving individuals yelling near a local convenience store; Deputies responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

10:32 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male to PCSO to be incarcerated on a Blaine Co SO warrant; case file started.

10:42 p.m. Female requested an ambulance for a possible stroke at a local convenience store; Deputies and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the hospital.

February 12, 2016

3:22 a.m. Deputies performed a traffic stop which led to one adult female being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Driving While Suspended, Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges; case file started.

7:14 a.m. PC Hospital employee requested the parking lot be sanded due to the ice; information passed onto City employee.

10:50 a.m. Females requested law enforcement assistance with individuals harassing one of the females; Deputy handled the call.

11:38 a.m. Deputy released one adult female from PCSO Jail on own recognizance.

2:46 p.m. Deputy released one adult male and transferred custody to Valley Co Deputy for transport to Valley Co Detention Center.

3:01 p.m. 911 received requesting medical assistance in Hays; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

3:54 p.m. Deputy released one adult male from PCSO Jail and transferred custody to Havre PD.

3:55 p.m. 911 received reporting a possible overdose in Hays; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

7:21 p.m. Male reported a non-injury vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 2, just west of Malta; caller had already left the location of the crash; Deputy responded to the call; white form issued.

8:08 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

8:11 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Saco area.

10:19 p.m. Havre PD received a Crimestoppers call involving a Facebook post by a local female; Deputy responded to the call; situation found to be harmless.

11:19 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

February 13, 2016

1:42 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

2:05 p.m. 911 received reporting a domestic situation in Pine Grove; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

8:11 a.m. Local Border Patrol Agents reported a suspicious male near the Malta Depot; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, male was just waiting for the train to arrive.

8:43 a.m. Female reported a non-injury, one vehicle rollover on Hwy 191, near the DY Junction; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:48 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory in effect until 1pm today.

8:59 a.m. Male reported a dog running loose by his residence for the last 3 days; information passed onto ACO.

9:12 a.m. Deputy requested a tow truck for the vehicle involved in the above crash; local rotational wrecker service responded to the call.

9:14 a.m. Male reported a missing ice house; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.

9:58 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 1pm.

11:11 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 1pm.

11:50 a.m. Male reported a dog running loose on Hwy 191 south near the Wagner turnoff.

12:37 p.m. Freezing Rain Advisory will expire at 1pm.

2:52 p.m. 911 received reporting a possible domestic situation in the Saco area; Deputy responded to the call; female had left the location without further incident and stayed with another individual.

3:47 p.m. Female reported an individual driving without a license near a local business; Deputy responded to the location; individuals not located.

4:05 p.m. Female reported a lost set of keys.

9:16 p.m. Female reported a missing dog dragging a leash; caller later reported the dog had been located.

February 14, 2016

12:14 a.m. Female reported being harassed by a male; Deputy responded to the call; situation handled without further incident.

1:36 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

2:30 a.m. 911 received reporting a domestic situation in progress at a local residence; Deputies responded to the call; individuals left the location without further incident.

2:22 p.m. High Wind Watch in effect from early Monday morning until Monday evening for southwest Phillips Co.

6:00 p.m. Male reported a Hit & Run to his vehicle; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

7:01 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

9:27 p.m. Female reported a loud vehicle driving around Dodson; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be quiet and no vehicles driving around.

9:34 p.m. Male reported a suspicious vehicle behind a local business; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay.

10:07 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

February 15, 2016

3:02 a.m. High Wind Watch is canceled for southwest Phillips Co.

4:02 a.m. 911 received reporting a possible electrical fire at a Dodson residence; Deputies and local Fire Dept responded to the call; fire later extinguished.

7:35 a.m. Male reported a missing dog.

10:35 a.m. Undersheriff assisted with traffic control while cattle was moved across Hwy 191 south.

2:03 p.m. Local business employee reported an assault that had occurred at the business; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

5:43 p.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and owner returned to pay.

8:46 p.m. Deputy assisted a semi-truck driver with fixing taillights in the Saco area.

9:19 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

11:10 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

1:41 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

7:58 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory in effect until noon today for most of Phillips Co.

9:40 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

10:01 a.m. Male reported a possible scam.

*We have been receiving calls reporting telephone calls with people asking for personal information, bank account information and needing to send money to relatives.

*Another call being received claims to be Publisher’s Clearing House and the IRS.

*A third type is requesting a money order number so they can give you vehicles that they claim you have won.

*These phone calls are scams, if it seems suspicious DO NOT GIVE any information to the caller. Ask for a call back phone number and call them back to see if it is who they are claiming to be. The IRS does not contact people via telephone.
