Family Fun Night at Malta Elementary this Thursday

Malta Elementary School will be holding a Family Fun Night on Thursday, February 4 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Activities start at 6 p.m. Bring the whole family.

Different family activities will be set up in the elementary gym and families can decided where they want to go. There will be activities to make bookmarks and Valentines, putting puzzles together and playing games and making stress balls. You can even just sit a read together as a family. “GoNoodle” will be another area that will sure to be a family favorite.

This year a “Book Swap” will take place. Students bring in a gently used book and receive a ticket to exchange for another book of their choice. “We felt it was very important to give students the opportunity to have something new to read,” states Mrs. Henry.

At 7 p.m., everyone is invited to the lunchroom to decorate cookies and have some refreshments.

All elementary students will receive a free homework pass to use as they wish. If they can’t get homework finished for some reason or they forget to take their work home, they can turn in their homework card and not receive a zero.

The Family Fun Night is being organized by the staff at Malta Elementary School.

Preschool through age 4 babysitting services will be provided by Mrs. Sjostrom and the Malta Middle School Builders Club.
