M-ettes remain undefeated

The Malta M-ettes kept their undefeated season alive in dominant fashion after defeating the Harlem Lady Wildcats 70-19 in Harlem last Thursday night.

The M-ettes were led by Sophia Stiles who had a 22 point, 10 assist double-double with seven steals and four rebounds.

Hailey Nicholson nearly had a double-double of her own scoring 16 points and racking up eight rebounds. She also had three assists, three steals and a block.

Adrianna Bibeau had a solid game scoring 14 points, snatching seven rebounds and recording one block. Jada Nicholson had eight points, seven rebounds and one steal. Marley Manoukian had four points, four assists, three steals and two rebounds. Mary Kalal scored four points (all from the charity stripe) and had one rebound. DeeDee Johannesen had two points and one rebound.

Shay Garfield had six rebounds and one block. Eva Harms had three rebounds and one block. Mystic Striker had two rebounds, two assists and one steal. Raleigh Hunter had one rebound.

The M-ettes had 42 rebounds, while holding Harlem to 16. Malta had 15 steals and forced 19 turnovers. The team had 10 second chance points and 27 points off turnovers.
