One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for January 27, 2016

The weather was perfect on Saturday and although barely made it into the 50’s, it melted for the first time. We had about an inch of soft snow but nothing like they are having in the East. And Alaska had quite a hard earthquake! Blessings for our weather. Polly Solberg went to Roundup on Friday to see grandson Devon in a speech meet in which his partner and he took first in humorous duo. Polly went on to Billings and stayed with son Tim and family. The community’s thoughts and good wishes continue to former resident Kim Solberg as she gets chemo treatment in Great Falls for Cancer. Kim is the daughter of Sid and Merrimae Solberg. Best wishes are also sent to Rose Hawkins for her recovery and return to work. Congratulations are sent to Kayla and Paul Warren on the arrival of their new twin girls. Also to great grandparents of same, Jim and Dee Shettel. Birthday wishes are sent to Neil Cole, Cee Dee Wilke, Paul Mortenson and Gloria Mortenson. Young priests listening to confessions must learn to refrain from saying “Wow!” Have a wonderful week and enjoy all the extra daylight we are having already.
