One Nation, Under God
Dora Henry attended the funeral of her niece, Phyllis Simpson, on Tuesday. Bill Henry came and took his Mom, Dora, to Havre for a few days over Christmas. Keelan, Kristi, Kieth, and Kortni came through and brought her home, staying a few days and helping Dora with her house. While here they visited the new Sleeping Buffalo for an afternoon of swimming. Wink and Terri Cole returned from Billings and Wink is doing well and feeling good after his operation. Sons Matt and Zack were here visiting and after Matt returned to Billings, they took Zack to Havre on Thursday to catch a plane to get back to duty in Texas. Polly Solberg and Dora Henry joined a full house for a pot luck at the Wathatau Center on New Year’s Day. There were many things to choose from and everyone went home stuffed. Thanks to the good elf that plowed the snow at the Churches before Sunday Services. You are appreciated! The community was sorry to hear the former Kim Solberg is having treatments for cancer in Great Falls after she had some problems. We all send best wishes for her recovery to her and her parents, Sid and Merrimae. The Dodson Lutheran Congregation had a pot luck on Sunday after services. Everyone enjoyed sharing in the new year. It was also Polly Solberg’s birthday so we helped her celebrate that also------50???????? Although we are getting some of the cold weather we are not getting the heavy snows yet that are elsewhere in Montana. Happy Birthday greetings to a few who have had birthdays in the last week and those to come. Best wishes to Cathy Bear, Polly Solberg, Francine KillEagle Stiffarm, Chance Stiffarm, Ava Welch and Robert Bear, and everyone else celebrating a new year. Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. Have a safe and happy New Year!
