North Country's John McColly made the most of his starting time last Saturday racking up seven points. He also scored eight last Friday against Geraldine-Highwood.
The North Country Mavericks are off to a 4-1 start this season after suffering their first loss to the Frazer Bearcubs last Thursday. Their wins on Friday and Saturday came at the Lewistown Invitational against Geraldine-Highwood and Broadus.
The Mavericks have three games this week. The team faces Dodson tomorrow night in Hinsdale, Glasgow in Glasgow on Friday night and Roy-Winifred in Whitewater on Saturday.
In the team's win against the Geraldine-Highwood Mountaineers, the team was led by sophomore Trace Simonson who had 21 points and seven rebounds.
