One Nation, Under God
Sympathy to the victims and families of the horrors in France and Syria. Also, sympathy to the families who lost people in the latest shooting massacres. Once more, we see a need for gun control everywhere.
I visited with Warren Taylor who is against gun control and is for the right to bear arms. Basically, gun control is to require mental checks on gun buyers of assault weapons and also crack down on black market gun sales. If they are responsible, maybe some citizens would keep guns. To Warren Taylor: maybe you should sing more and hunt less. You sure can sing.
For Thanksgiving, Eunice and Gayle Simonson each had all of their five children and 12 adults for dinner.
Sally Austin and Curt and Janice Reichelt went to Joyce Donavan’s in Kremlin.

Patty Young hosted dinner for family and Linda Berg spent Thanksgiving on the road with family from Canada.
I went to dinner at the Siewing’s. It was a delicious meal and great fellowship. John S. was a guest also.
Margie Olson had her daughter, Carolyn Branard and other family over and Ree Simonson also had guests over the weekend.

It is a sunny day, but also cool here in Whitewater. I hope the nice weather lasts.
Ray J’s BBQ in Malta hosted a free Thanksgiving dinner for guests. Way to go Ray and company.
Here is a note to County Commissioners and the Whitewater Booster Club. Why can’t we have a shop-warming party in the new shop? I asked County Commissioner Richard Dunbar and he said “no drinking in the shop.” Why not have a non alcoholic potluck, maybe with music?
