Jim Mitchell a former Phillips County resident will turn 100 years old on December 3, 2015. Mitchell was born in Phillips County and ranched there until 1967 at which time he moved to Clyde Park and continued raising cattle. He also ranched in the Grass Range area before settling in Miles City. Mitchell lives in Miles City near his three daughters; Charlotte Miller, Cheryl Melin and Judy Bloxhom and their families.
