MALTA-Arden J. Sanderson, 60, an Army Veteran and truck driver died Friday, November 2, 2015 at his home in Malta.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 2 at the Kirkwood Memorial Chapel in Malta. Military Honors will follow the services. Condolences for the family may be left at

Arden was born in Glendive, MT on September 25, 1955 to George and Nedra Sanderson. Arden grew up in Glendive with his brothers Neil and Don and his sister Darlene. Arden's second father was Loren Stott of Glendive. Loren and Nedra married after George passed away.
After graduating from Dawson County High School, Arden enlisted in the United States Army. Arden was a Military Police dog handler with the 138th Military Police Company. Arden and his K9 partner Barron served in Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Arden returned to Glendive in 1976 and met the love of his life, Bonnie Smith. Arden and best friend Bonnie married in Billings, Mont., on March 26, 1983. Arden and Bonnie moved to Malta, Mont., in 1985. Shortly after moving to Malta, they had three children. Arden and Bonnie raised Chase, Erin, and Katherine in a loving home in Malta.
During the majority of Arden's life in Malta he worked for the local cable TV company. After retirement he drove truck for construction projects across Montana.
Arden loved his wife, children, and family very much. He was always compassionate, supporting, and patient. Arden enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, cutting firewood, tinkering in his garage, and raising critters on their place in Green Acres. Arden absolutely loved spear fishing on Nelson Reservoir with family and friends and rooting for the Denver Broncos.
Arden was preceded in death by his father George Sanderson, stepfather Loren Stott, brother Neil Sanderson, father-in-law Ernie Smith, mother-in-law Wendy Smith, and brother-in-law Keith Smith.
Arden is survived by his mother Nedra Stott of Glendive; wife Bonnie Sanderson of Malta; son Chase Sanderson of Glasgow, daughter Erin (Matthew Tummel) of Belgrade, and daughter Katherine (Patrick Bagley) of Shepherd, sister Darlene (Ervin Mitchell) of Glendive, brother Don Sanderson (Mark Cairo) of Brier, Wash., sister-in-law Debbie (Wayne Harbig) of Glendive. Arden is also survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins, good friends, and three faithful dogs.
