One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of November 4, 2015

Get well wishes to all who are sick, especially flu victims.

Pastor and Mrs. Larry Doyle, from Havre, were guest speakers at Whitewater Baptist Church. Pastor Wisher went to Nebraska.

The Dunbar brothers sold their cattle at the Glasgow Auction Co. Many ranchers are shipping their cattle; I can hear the cattle bawl from across the stockyards. The Andersons, Austins, Hellies and other are shipping. Justin Austin of Denver is home to work the ranch.

The Whitewater Lutheran Church has guests for Reformation on Sunday. Mr. Engebreston and guests played music. We enjoyed it. Also, The Pastor – Prison Chaplain – of the Montana State Prison gave the message (prison is a good place not to go) as a guest speaker.

Recently, I visited with KayDel Stiles (former Whitewater resident) and she talked about her children, her foster children and her puppies. It was a nice visit.

The weather here has been very cold of late with lots of wind, but it is very nice out today.

My typewriter ribbon just quit on me.

Have a good week.

Helen
