The M-ettes posted a strong win against the Poplar Indians last Saturday in Malta, but also dropped a game against the Scotties last Thursday.
With only five teams in the 2B district, Malta who took second will get a first round bye, however their opening opponent Wolf Point will also get a first round bye. Glasgow won the district crown and will take on the winner of the Poplar-Harlem game. Only two teams will go on to the Northern B Divisional round in Glasgow on November 5-7.

The Malta High School M-ettes opening round match at the 2015 District 2B Volleyball Tournament will be Friday - October 30 at 11:30 pm verses Wolf Point.
Tournament single-day tickets for the 2015 District 2B Volleyball Tournament will be sold at Glasgow High School.
Single-day ticket prices are $10.00 for an adult and $7.00 for a student.
The Poplar Indians have showed growth this season and even stayed within five points of Malta two of the three matches Malta won last Saturday. Ultimately Malta's 11 kills in the fourth set put the game away on the team's Senior Night.
"It was really important to us to get this last home game and conference win," M-ette hitter Mary Grace Kalal told the PCN. "It put us up higher (in the tournament bracket) and we relied a lot on the younger girls to help us get the W."
Malta won the game with the scores being 25-20, 25-12, 21-25 and 25-21.
Adrianna Abba Bibeau led Malta with 10 kills and five aces. Riley Mortenson had 15 digs. Sam Mitchell had 18 assists.
"We started loud," Kalal said. "We were communicating, we were controlling our controllables and we were just being really aggressive."
Poplar was able to snatch the third game, thanks to some good directional hitting.
