Phillips County Sheriff's Report for week of October 28, 2015

October 9, 2015

8:29 a.m. Local Fire Dept reported to the Malta Grade School for a Fire Prevention Week assembly.

9:49 a.m. High Wind Watch in effect from Sunday morning until Sunday evening for southwest Phillips Co.

9:53 a.m. Female reported a homeless male in the 7th Street/Central Ave area; Deputy responded to the call; male found to be one of the construction workers doing repair work on Central Ave, not a homeless male.

1:49 p.m. 911 received reporting a grass fire in the Loring area; Loring Fire Dept responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.

4:04 p.m. Female reported another female on the Milk River bridge, west of Dodson, yelling at vehicles as they go by; Deputy and Ft Belknap LE responded to the call; Ft Belknap LE gave individual a ride to her residence in Ft Belknap.

2:57 a.m. High Wind Watch in effect Sunday morning thru the evening for Phillips Co.

9:56 a.m. BNSF Police reported a crossing arm malfunction at the Dodson crossing and a maintainer was enroute to repair it.

2:19 p.m. High Wind Warning in effect from 6am to 9pm Sunday for most of Phillips Co.

2:21 p.m. Red Flag Warning in effect from 9am to 9pm Sunday for most of Phillips Co, to include CMR and the lower Missouri River Breaks area.

3:54 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a “hostile” individual at the caller’s residence south of Malta; Deputies responded to the call; individual left the location without further incident.

5:04 p.m. BNSF Police requested PCSO assistance with an individual on the railroad tracks in the Dodson area; Deputy responded to the call; male located and advised to stay off the tracks or a citation would be issued.

8:20 p.m. Male reported a disabled vehicle east of Saco on Hwy 2 and would be removing it the next day.

11:03 p.m. Deputy removed debris from Hwy 2.

October 11, 2015

2:45 a.m. High Wind Warning remains in effect from 6am to 9pm tonight.

2:57 a.m. Red Flag Warning remains in effect from 9am to 9pm tonight.

1:41 p.m. Female reported a sign on the ground in the downtown area; information passed onto City employee.

2:19 p.m. High Wind Warning remains in effect until 9pm tonight.

2:21 p.m. Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 9pm tonight.

4:24 p.m. Female reported a Hit & Run to her vehicle; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

8:47 p.m. Red Flag Warning is canceled.

8:55 p.m. High Wind Warning is canceled.

11:42 p.m. Female reported a door on a residence was open and wasn’t sure if anyone was around the area; Deputies checked the residence out; all found to be okay, door shut and situation taken care of.

October 12, 2015

9:46 a.m. Local business reported vandalism to freshly poured cement; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

10:18 a.m. Female filed a written complaint regarding an on-going “break-in issue” with her neighbors; Deputy handled the call; information added to existing case file; no break-in to property located.

12:19 p.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding vehicles speeding on a residential street; Undersheriff handled the call.

4:35 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the Froshmore game.

5:36 p.m. 911 received reporting a large object had shattered the caller’s windshield while driving on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

5:48 p.m. Local business reported a vehicle blocking access to their building; owner located and advised to remove the vehicle.

7:05 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on an abandoned vehicle on Hwy 191 north of Malta; no one around the vehicle and vehicle was secure.

8:04 p.m. An alarm company reported a commercial fire alarm sounding at a local business; all found to be okay, had been set off by a resident.

9:46 p.m. Male reported a vehicle at the end of the pavement on Short Oil Road, partially in the ditch; Deputy responded to the location; occupants were okay and advised to head home for the night.

10:21 p.m. Female requested a welfare check on another female walking on Hwy 2, near the Pavilion; Deputies responded to the call; female transported to PCSO and stayed in the lobby for the night as no hotel rooms were available.

October 13, 2015

7:55 a.m. One adult male released from PCSO Jail for transport to Lewistown to meet transport company and transfer custody to them.

9:35 a.m. A local Good Samaritan gave an adult female who stayed the night in the lobby a ride to a local business.

4:49 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the Middle School game.

6:02 p.m. Male reported his neighbor’s cows were in his hay field and bales; information passed onto Livestock Inspector.

8:00 p.m. Valley Co Deputy reported a vehicle with hazard lights on alongside of Hwy 2, west of Saco; Deputy responded to the call; found to be an individual on their cell phone and all was okay.

October 14, 2015

1:05 a.m. Deputy humanely euthanized an injured deer on Hwy 2, just west of Malta.

6:44 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female with severe stomach pain; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the hospital.

10:58 a.m. Female filed a written complaint regarding an on-going “break-in issue” with her neighbors; Sheriff handled the call; information added to existing case file; no break-in to property located.

11:42 a.m. Individual reported a vehicle parked in his driveway had run out of fuel off of Hwy 2, east of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; male brought to Malta to get fuel and returned to his vehicle.

2:29 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle and trailer alongside of Hwy 2 in Dodson; all found to be okay.

3:52 p.m. 911 received reporting a juvenile having severe stomach pain; caller refused an ambulance and wanted to know if juvenile should be taken to the Glasgow hospital; caller advised to take juvenile to PC Hospital for a medical evaluation.

6:24 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Great Falls; local EMT Crew responded to the call.

6:39 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the varsity game vs. Harlem.

6:50 p.m. Female requested a welfare check on a family member at a local residence; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

8:54 p.m. Male reported a vehicle crossing the centerline while driving under the underpass; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle located and was parked.

10:05 p.m. Deputy removed an animal that had been run over on Hwy 2 by the PC Museum.

11:35 p.m. Deputy performed building checks in the Dodson area.

October 15, 2015

12:31 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a family member; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

1:01 a.m. Several 911s received reporting a male standing in a residential street yelling; Deputies responded to the call; information added to the above case file.

1:08 a.m. Deputies transported one adult male to the PC Hospital for evaluation and later transported this male to PCSO to be incarcerated on Disorderly Conduct charges.

6:01 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male in South Phillips Co; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the hospital.

7:19 a.m. Ft Belknap LE reported a vehicle fire on Route 66 in Phillips Co; vehicle had hit a deer and burst into flames, occupant was out of the vehicle; Deputy, Ft Belknap LE, MHP Trooper and Landusky Fire Dept responded to the call; MHP handled the crash; fire later controlled and extinguished.

11:49 a.m. One adult male released from PCSO Jail.

1:45 p.m. Male reported a vehicle speeding through Dodson; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

5:31 p.m. Male reported a dog running loosed in a residential area; ACO handled the call.

5:37 p.m. Deputy performed a traffic stop off of Hwy 2 on Exeter Creek Road which led to one adult male, Skye Nelson, being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated on a Plains PD warrant; case file started.

6:59 p.m. 911 received requesting medical assistance for a female who had fallen out of her chair; local EMT Crew handled to the call.

8:36 p.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding a camper parked on the wrong side of the street with the steps pulled out; information passed onto Deputies.

8:37 p.m. Female reported a missing dog; ACO handled the call.

11:38 p.m. Female reported a possibly intoxicated driver on Hwy 2, east of Malta; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle located and stopped, driver found to be overly tired, not intoxicated.

October 16, 2015

9:48 a.m. Female reported a possible scam.

11:44 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Great Falls; local EMT Crew responded to the call; transport later canceled by the hospital.

1:52 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pickup from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

2:11 p.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding a vehicle speeding by her residence; Deputy handled the call.
