Join us on Saturday November 7 for the 4th Annual Malta Putt Crawl!

Get your best four-person team together, then come prepared to putt at custom golf holes designed and constructed by our local restaurants and taverns. Each team will putt at each of the following businesses: The Great Northern, Kid Curry, The Lucky Bullet, The Mint, The Stockman, Stretch's, The Tin Cup, The VFW Club and The Westside Casino.

Along the way, teams will be scored by the tavern and prizes will be awarded at the end of the night. Participants can purchase mulligans, allowing them a chance for a do-over of a poor golf shot. Adding to the fun, teams are encouraged to have a team name and dress up in costumes! Trophy’s will be given out for, “Best Score,” “Best Golf Hole Design,” and “Best Dressed Team.” There may even be an award for “Worst Score!”

Entry fees for the “Putt Crawl” are $50 per 4-person team. Be sure to register early as there is a limit on the number of teams. Participants can register at any time by calling the Malta Chamber Office at 654-1776. Teams may also register, if spots remain, at the event on November 7, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Tin Cup. The Putt Crawl will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Tin Cup and will end at 10:30 p.m. at Kid Curry.

Rides will be provided by PC Transit throughout the night.

This event is sponsored by the Malta Chamber of Commerce and is their only fundraiser, aside from membership dues. The Chamber of Commerce focuses efforts in three different areas; supporting the community, supporting our members, and encouraging new business. Proceeds from the Putt Crawl help the Chamber continue to hold events like Oktoberfest/Parade of Lights (Oct. 29), Holiday Late Night Openings, Chamber Christmas Button Drawings, and Crazy Days, Sports Hospitality Rooms, Business After Hours, Member Training Programs, and the Person of Influence Awards.
