September 20, 2015

9:06 a.m. Local Ambulance and Fire Dept reported to the PCMS Dragstrip for the races.

10:47 a.m. An alarm company reported a commercial fire alarm sounding at a local business; all found to be okay, was a false alarm.

12:03 p.m. Hi-Line Retirement Center requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Havre; local EMT Crew handled the call.

4:52 p.m. Female reported a dog had killed a friend’s cat; information passed onto ACO.

5:10 p.m. 911 received requesting assistance with locating and stopping a vehicle that had the caller’s vehicle keys in it; Deputy responded to the call; keys located and returned to the caller.

5:16 p.m. Simplex Grinnell reported a commercial burglar alarm sounding at a local business; manager located and alarm reset, was a false alarm and all was okay.

6:07 p.m. Musselshell Co SO served a local warrant on Sharae Frost.

7:00 p.m. Male reported suspicious activity behind a local business; Deputy responded to the call; individuals and their vehicle were not located.

7:18 p.m. Individuals reported theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:09 p.m. Male requested a welfare check on a juvenile at a local residence; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay.

8:29 p.m. Male reported theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:11 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pickup from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

September 21, 2015

3:22 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9am to 6pm tonight.

5:55 a.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a male who had fallen; Deputies and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the hospital.

9:50 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male in diabetic shock in Saco; Saco EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital; coroner case file started.

12:15 p.m. Male reported finding a dog running loose north of Saco; owner later located and dog returned.

5:09 p.m. 911 received reporting a BNSF vehicle with flashing lights traveling eastbound on Hwy 2 from Saco; vehicle was causing other vehicles to pull over as all thought it was an emergency vehicle; information passed onto Valley Co SO.

5:52 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory will expire at 6pm.

11:59 p.m. Deputies transported one adult female to PCSO to be incarcerated on a Custer Co SO warrant; case file started.

September 22, 2015

3:40 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 10am to 6pm tonight.

1:31 p.m. Oversized load transport company reported they would be traveling through Phillips Co on Hwy 191 south and Route 66.

2:45 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory now in effect until 4am Wednesday.

3:13 p.m. 911 received reporting a suspicious male at the Malta Depot; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and left town without further incident.

5:41 p.m. 911 received reporting a child had possibly ingested poison; caller didn’t want an ambulance; caller advised to transport the child to the PC Hospital via personal vehicle; information passed onto PC Hospital.

6:50 p.m. Female reported two suspicious males and a vehicle with a taped up window near a local business; Deputy responded to the call; males found to be the individuals passing through who buy scrap metal.

9:35 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a highly intoxicated male at a local tavern; Deputies responded to the call; male left the location without further incident.

9:46 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a possible theft of monetary funds by a male in Phillips Co; Deputy responded to the call; case file started; information passed onto Roosevelt Co SO as well.

10:35 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with removing a male from the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; male removed from the area without further incident and advised to go home.

September 23, 2015

7:35 a.m. Malta Grade School employee reported a threat to the children of the school; Sheriff, Undersheriff, Deputy, and local Border Patrol Agents responded to the call; case file started; Malta schools closed for the day; threat under investigation.

7:49 a.m. Female reported her neighbor’s dog barking; information passed onto ACO.

9:12 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for the caller who had leg pain; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the hospital.

9:23 a.m. Deputy reported hearing a possible gunshot on a residential street; all found to be okay, vehicle had blown a tire.

11:34 a.m. One adult female released from PCSO Jail and custody transferred to Custer Co SO Deputy and Matron.

11:47 a.m. Male reported theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

12:21 p.m. 911 received reporting hearing gunshots near a local convenience store; Sheriff and Undersheriff responded to the call; found to be a motorhome back-firing, not gunshots.

3:35pm Female reported a scam.

4:17 p.m. Female reported individuals requesting assistance in the downtown area and would like them checked out; Deputy responded to the call; local citizens gave the individuals money for fuel and they went on their way.

5:20 p.m. Local MHP Trooper reported a disabled motorhome on Hwy 2, west of Malta; individuals were okay, just waiting for help to arrive.

7:21 p.m. Several calls received reporting yelling/screaming coming from a neighbor’s residence; Deputy responded to the call; found to be a fight between two dogs and family discussing what to do; both dogs taken to veterinarian’s for medical evaluation.

9:09 p.m. Deputy reported suspicious activity at a local business that was closed for the night; all found to be okay, just an employee seeing if another employee had returned from Havre for the night.

10:26 p.m. Female reported hitting a cow on the Regina Road; vehicle was disabled and no injuries to the occupants; Deputy and local wrecker service responded to the call; case file started.

September 24, 2015

1:00 a.m. Deputies performed security checks in the Malta area.

5:26 a.m. Male reported a vehicle with a flat tire on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; tire changed and driver went on his way.

8:42 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pickup from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

12:11 p.m. Male reported a possibly intoxicated driver, westbound on Hwy 2, from the Dodson area; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE.

8:12 p.m. PC Hospital reported a female had been bit by her own cat; Deputy and ACO handled the call.

9:55 p.m. Male reported a vehicle speeding on Central Ave; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; vehicle located and was parked.

September 25, 2015

8:35 a.m. Male reported a theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

1:45 p.m. 911 received reporting smoke in south Phillips Co; fire found to be in Garfield County.

2:49 p.m. Male reported a family member had passed away; Deputy responded to the call; coroner case file started.

5:19 p.m. 911 received reporting smoke southeast of Fourchette Bay; caller advised of the fire in Garfield County.

6:25 p.m. Male requested extra patrol around a business; information passed onto Deputies.

6:29 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the game vs. Poplar.

9:44 p.m. Local business reported a fuel drive-off; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle not located.

9:53 p.m. Male reported a suspicious vehicle near a local business; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle not in the reported area anymore.

10:34 p.m. Deputy performed security checks on businesses and buildings in the Malta area.

September 26, 2015

2:07 a.m. Female reported a suspicious vehicle outside of a business; Deputy responded to the call; individuals found to be resting in the vehicle.

8:30 a.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the middle school games.

8:34 a.m. Female requested a welfare check on another female; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay.

10:25 a.m. Local business reported kids tearing around in vehicles in their parking lot; caller requested extra patrol in the area; information passed onto Deputies.

11:27 a.m. Local business reported a vehicle blocking parking access for the business; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle later removed from the location.

September 27, 2015

1:46 a.m. Male reported strobe lights going off inside and outside the high school; Deputy and school employee responded to the call; found to be a smoke alarm going off and no smoke located; alarm reset for the night.

1:34 p.m. Male reported a possible DUI with children in the vehicle; vehicle was head-ed southbound from the DY Junction; information passed onto MHP and Fergus Co SO.

2:59 p.m. Male reported an individual possibly stealing livestock; call forwarded to the Livestock Inspector.

7:27 p.m. Male requested extra patrol around a local building; information passed on-to Deputies.

7:30 p.m. Female reported individuals sitting in lawn chairs in the street; Deputy responded to the call; individuals removed from the street.

September 28, 2015

7:28 a.m. Ft Belknap LE reported a vehicle/deer accident on Route 66 in Phillips Co; vehicle was disabled; MHP Trooper handled the call.

7:56 a.m. Female reported a train blocking the crossing in Dodson; information passed onto BNSF Police.

10:53 a.m. Female reported another train blocking the crossing in Dodson; information passed onto BNSF Police.

11:37 a.m. Female filed a written parking complaint about semi trucks being parked on the streets; Undersheriff handled the call.

12:05 p.m. Female reported a situation involving her neighbors; Deputy handled the call; situation taken care of.

2:48 p.m. Undersheriff transported one adult male from Valley Co Detention Center to PCSO for a District Court hearing the next day.

2:49 p.m. 911s received reporting a semi truck had lost some hay bales on Hwy 2, in Valley Co; calls transferred to Valley Co SO.

3:00 p.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; Sheriff responded to the call; individual later located and advised.

4:46 p.m. Female reported a RV pulling a boat crossing the center line several times, eastbound on Hwy 2; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle located and was parked.

5:57 p.m. Female reported theft of a cell phone from a party that happened on Friday night; Deputy responded to the call; female didn’t want Malta, MT she needed Malta, OH.

10:34 p.m. Deputies transported one adult male and one adult female from Valley Co Detention Center to PCSO for a District Court hearing the next day.

September 29, 2015

3:04 a.m. 911 received reporting a disturbance at a local residence; Deputies responded to the location; case file started.

4:02 a.m. Deputy transported one adult male to PCSO to be incarcerated on Obstruction of Justice and False Reports.

8:59 a.m. One adult inmate released from PCSO Jail on bond paid.

10:12 a.m. Two adult inmates released from PCSO Jail on own recognizance after District Court hearing.

1:23 p.m. Female reported a possible scam.

1:51 p.m. Male reported two missing dogs; caller advised to also call KMMR.

5:00 p.m. Female reported an IRS phone scam.

5:17 p.m. Female reported a dog chasing people and vehicles in a residential area; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and dog taken inside.

6:58 p.m. Local Fire Dept Firemen were out of the Firehall for training around Malta.

7:52 p.m. Male reported a missing puppy; puppy later located by owner.

7:58 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 2, near the Saco flats; airbags were deployed and no injury to the occupants; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:39 p.m. Deputy transported two adult males from PCSO Jail to Valley Co Detention awaiting further transport.

9:59 p.m. Deputy received information about an individual in a tent near the right of way on Hwy 2, east of Malta; individual not located.

September 30, 2015

12:07 a.m. Valley Co Undersheriff requested PCSO assistance with a death notification in Saco; Deputy handled the call.

3:49 p.m. BNSF Police requested an ambulance to meet the incoming Amtrak for an elderly male who was confused; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient refused transport.

8:45 p.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a truck driver who’s vehicle was breaking down; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle removed from the Hwy and help arrived the next day.

October 1, 2015

9:03 a.m. Deputy reported seeing smoke coming from the Greenacres area; all found to be okay, no more smoke or fire located.

2:43 p.m. Female reported a train blocking a Dodson crossing for an extended amount of time; information passed onto BNSF Police.

3:35 p.m. Local business reported a theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

6:30 p.m. Female reported a semi stuck in the Underpass; Deputy responded to the call; semi later removed from the area.

October 2, 2015

2:10 a.m. 911 received reporting a possible domestic situation at a local residence; Deputy responded to the call; case file started; male removed from the residence for the night.

8:08 a.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding vehicles still speeding by a residential area, even with the new speed bumps; Deputy handled the call.

11:21 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male with a broken leg; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the hospital.

11:57 a.m. Male reported a reckless and speeding vehicle in the Dodson area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was driving the speed limit.

6:40 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the game vs. Shelby.
