One Nation, Under God

Loring News for week of October 14, 2015

A successful Loring Harvest Dance is now in the books! Kevin Beck of Turner won the Traegre Grill and Carry Simonson won the sound bar! The band Trial by Fire was on fire! And the Stockman Bar caterers did a great job!

Jeannie Shroeder drove up from Billings with Saige and Zoey to visit Grandma Dixie and Grandpa Tom! They also stopped to see Great Grandma Barbara!

There will be no Lutheran Church services at Loring next Sunday, but on the last Sunday of the month, October 25, we will have special services.

Carol Lumsden spent the weekend at the quilt retreat at Nelson Lake! I'm sure the lake was beautiful on Saturday! But the waves must have been high on Sunday! I think the gusts of wind were 50 mph or more! The leaves are gone on most of the trees in our yard. The brown needles on the pine trees have been blown off and are now all over the drive way and lawn! The robins are bathing and getting ready to head south!

The Big Flat Annual meeting was held on Saturday. Alan Wasson was the president of the board and therefore the master of ceremonies. It is Jeanne Barnard's last annual meeting, so we all wish her happy retirement!
