Dodson News for October 14, 2015

Polly Solberg and Dora Henry were in Havre early Wednesday for medical. It was a beautiful fall day and so nice to see all the different colors of the trees etc. along the way.

Kenny Munson visited in Dodson with several people on Wednesday, including Tammy Voice, whom he was a classmate with when they were both in school in Dodson years ago . He was on his way to visit a daughter at her college. Kenny is a Space Engineer and has worked in several different space programs since leaving Dodson, among other things, directing satellite traffic.

The School held their Homecoming Parade on Friday afternoon. It was well received and everyone enjoyed the horseback riders ( even the tiny one riding with her dad), the floats and their riders and the big semi from the Aaniiih Nakoda College that was in the parade. Good going kids! Nice to see your activities.

Dean and Carol Kienenberger, and Polly Solberg and Dora Henry were among those who enjoyed the movie, War Room, at the theater on Sunday afternoon.

The wind blew very hard at Dodson as in most of the state on Sunday. It certainly moved a lot of things around, and brought a lot of leaves down.

Congratulations to Wink and Terri Cole on their wedding anniversary.

You know the tax loopholes are too large when you see people driving their fortunes through them.

The Big Flat Electrical Meeting was on Saturday and delicious dinner was served. Several prizes were given out and I won the 4-H Beef! Thanks Big Flat.
