A low pressure system producing relentless sheets of rain settled over the northern part of Montana late Friday and continued all day Saturday making the Havre Invitational Cross Country Meet one of the wettest meets experienced by runners and spectators alike. As each race began and ended, the rain continued and just before the start of the JV girl's race, a fierce band of rain came in with the west wind making it impossible to stay dry for even a moment.
