PC Extension to host Shelterbelt Workshop

The Phillips County Extension Office in coordination with the Phillips County Conservation District will be hosting a shelterbelt workshop on Wednesday, September 23 beginning at 9:00 am through 12:30 p.m. The workshop will be held at Dr. Anne Johnson’s clinic off of Highway 364 south of Malta and also at Ron Sjostrom’s approximately 4 miles east of Malta off of Highway 2 on Strater Road. Dr. Peter Kolb will instruct participates on renovating, design, and species selection for shelterbelts. Information on weed control both chemical and mechanical will be presented.
