One Nation, Under God

Loring News for week of September 2, 2015

No church service at the Loring Lutheran on Sept.6, Labor Day. Our next service will be on September 13, at 11 with Orvin delivering the message. We will have a quarterly meeting at 10. Dan and Judy Simonson traveled to Missoula to visit their girls, Kiana and Keira, and attend the Griz football game against NDSU. The Griz won in dramatic fashion! The smoke isn't anything I want to talk about, but I thought that the people who write the yesteryear column might be interested in the future! We have had the worst smoky skies since Mt. St. Helena erupted! I feel bad for the people who are really close to the fires and pray everyone stays safe! Dixie Stordahl attended installation of OES officers on Sunday in Malta. Jonnae Slade visited the Pete Lumsden's and Jay Blunt's over the weekend. Paula Morrison visited with Dixie Stordahl one day last week. We dangled our feet in the hot tub. The weather has been crazy this week! So hot and smoky skies, then rain, windy with gusts, and cooler temps. I don’t think the rain was even measurable, but it did cool down .
