One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for September 2, 2015

Dora Henry attended Pete Score’s funeral in Malta on Friday. She met and visited with many “old” friends and met a couple new ones. We all agreed----those of our age are getting fewer every day. The Ladies of the church served lunch in the social room after. Polly Solberg attended the funeral for Art Mord in Turner/Hogeland on Saturday. We extend our condolences to these families from the community. Wink and Terri Cole were home over the weekend from Billings where they have been staying while Wink awaits the results of medical tests he has been having. Linda Vulk of East Helena came to visit her mom, Dora Henry, for a few days. Smoke and the smell of smoke were very heavy this week, especially on Friday. Those poor people that live closer to the fires! Saturday night and Sunday brought good showers to the Dodson area. Hopefully the areas where they are having the fires got some also and got help with the fire situation. The downtown area suffered a large water leak and hopefully shut offs can be found and it will be able to be dug up and repaired quickly. There are worse things than getting a call for a wrong number at 4 a.m.-- like, it could be the right number. Enjoy this nice weather while it lasts!
