One Nation, Under God
What a happy surprise we had at Loring Lutheran Church on Sunday! Clarabelle Dyrdahl-Bogut’s children and spouses returned to visit the homestead and Ray and Clarice Dyrdahl’s home where Whitney and Jay Blunt now live. Clarabelle was Ray Dyrdahl’s sister. Loran and Marilyn Frazier of Polson, Jack and Joan Bogut of Philadelphia, and Emily and Don Bogut of Kalispell, grew up in the Loring area in the 40’s. Ray and Clarice’s children, Sharon and Dustin Hill of Scobey, and Leroy and Debbie Dyrdahl of Malta also were out for the day. After church the group was treated to a BBQ at Whitney and Jay Blunt’s with Pete and Carol Lumsden and John and Ruth Flansaas! The church rafters just rang with the great singing voices of the group!
Dixie Stordahl hosted the Woman’s Club on Wednesday evening. We decided to raffle off a $500 gift certificate to Sheele’s. Second prize is a blue tooth sound bar. Tickets will be $5 a piece or 5 tickets for $20.
David and Rocco Stordahl of Billings are visiting Tom and Dixie Stordahl for a few days.
Kage Morrison had a birthday recently and celebrated with friends and family. He is 0ne!
Kyle and Kellie Wasson and children visited Glacier Park last week.
Get well wishes to Brenda Clark.
The Loring area looks so beautiful with the grass cut everywhere. Thanks to Kenny Clark and Dave Clark and Whitney Blunt who mowed the post office area.
Hope you all are getting ready for the 100th Phillips County Fair! It’ll be a blast from the past and present and future!
