Rest Room

If you are looking for :"omething for nothing." You may find it in the form of a Rest Room and wash room at the Variety store. We endeavor to please our customers as much as possible and although our room is limited we have arranged two rooms for the use of the public. We hope the ladies will take advantage of this and make it their headquarters. We do not want you to feel it a necessity to buy every time you come in, but come as often and stay as long as you wish.

There was no rain during the storm and very little lightning and thunder, just one bolt.

A little higher, please

Malta's new community banners are here and up on poles – at least some of them. Some are coming down.

Mayor Byron Ereaux told chamber of commerce members Monday at their monthly meeting that the new banners that had been hung on Central (Highway 191) and and Highway 2 have to come down for the time being because ... the Montana Department of Transportation told the city the banners have to be installed at least 15 feet off of the street (the new banners were installed at about 13 feet – the same height as the city's Christmas banners have been hanging for years.)
