Loring News for week of July 15, 2015

Loring area got a little rain this weekend to lessen the fire danger! Before it rained, though, the lightning started three fires in the area. All were extinguished before too much damage was done. Thank you to all the neighbors and fire fighting volunteers for the speedy help.

Pete and Carol Lumsden attended his 40th class reunion in Malta this past weekend. It sounds like everyone had a good time reminiscing and reacquainting with friends from the past!

Get well wishes to Mark Lageson! Hope you heal fast!

Rennay Watkins is off to Australia to play basketball down under for a few weeks! She plays with the Turner Tornados during the school year! Have fun, Rennay!

Loring Lutheran Church will have services on Sunday at 9:30 with Cindy Clark leading us.

Our baby flycatchers have flown the coop! Their nest was under the roof of our deck so it was kind of hazardous using the steps for a few weeks!

Loring Womans’ Club will meet at the home of Dixie Stordahl on Wednesday July 17 at 7. It is always fun to get together with the ladies of this area!

Congrats to Reene and Kent Wasson on the birth of their granddaughter on July 3 in Billings! The parents are Nichole and Kent Wood.
