Whitewater News for the Week of June 24, 2015

The Omdahl family from Malta had dinner at the North 40. She (barb) drove bus out to Whitewater years ago.

Get well wishes to Irene Wendalyn (former resident) who is recovering from an operation. Irene was my guest last week.

Pat and Barb Dunbar’s grandsons were here with Sara (their mother) visiting family and friends.

Eddie Anderson Sr. recently visited Ed J.R., Becky and all the grandchildren. Ed lives in Washington.

Gloria (former youth ranch resident) gave me a ride to Whitewater from Malta and she visited in the area.

A family from Billings is visiting Jonathan and Diane (missionary) who are filling in for the Swishers.

Welcome to Whitewater to all guests and families!

School is out for summer and children are out playing. But it is more quite without school and the activates. Some families are on vacation also.

I visited Monika and her cute puppies.

There was a car with a square, odd looking camera on top driving around the blocks in Whitewater. I wonder what it was doing? I asked Monika if she knew and she said it was a Google Car. It takes map pictures for Google. Monika even showed me pictures of our fare town of Whitewater (and some of Malta) on her computer.

It is complicated but astonishing what modern equipment can do. I thought the Google car and camera were UFOs from outer space (remember E.T.?)
