One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of June 10, 2015

Our sympathy to the family of Arlene Donaven (former Whitewater resident), who is the family of Dennis and Joyce Donaven.

Also sympathy to families of Arabelle McMullen and Allie Ereaux and Nancy Booth. Hope all are in a better place.

The Hutterutes (Susie and family) visited me with the children.

Congratulations to Challise Young (my grand-daughter) and Cody Scheffelmear on being "Athletes of the week" in last week's paper. GREAT!

Patty and Steve Young traveled to Great Falls recently. Justin Austin of Denver, Co came home to to do spring work on the ranch.

Many from the community went to the Veteran's Day Dinner and Program in Malta and to the lake.

Pastor Wisher and family went to South Carolina. A guest Baptist pastor and family will be preaching in Wisher's absence. Welcome to them and attend services in Whitewater on Sunday eve at 6 p.m. Sunday school is at 10 and church service is at 11 a.m.

Whitewater Lutheran Church has regular church services at 11:15 a.m. every Sunday morning.

Irene Wendelyn of Chinook, visited and spent the night with me in WW Sunday. WE (Irene, Linda Berg and I) took the Phillips Transit bus to the Fort Peck Theatre. It featured, "Always Patsy Cline" and the theatre was wonderful, with a full house.

Then we stopped at Hinsdale for dinner. We met the Lang and Hammond families at the cafe. It's a small world!

When Irene Wendelyn came, she brought me and her sons farm eggs, her home-canned beets and apple butter and her delicious homemade Apple Pie.
