One Nation, Under God

Loring News for week of June 10, 2015

Summer is here and so are the summer temperatures. We hit 85 degrees on Sunday. We have had very little rain, only about a quarter inch last week. Everything still looks green though since we had a big rain last fall.

Dixie Stordahl was very busy last week since the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum celebrated Montana Dinosaur Festival. The Soiree was on Friday evening with a great wine and hors devoirs and the introduction of Dr. Liz Fowler, paleontologist. On Saturday the Donuts and Dinos started us off followed by a ton of kids’ activities for the day and then the big duck race in the Canal south of town.

Dixie Stordahl also attended the Hell’s Belles concert at the Pavillion on Saturday night. It was entertaining!

The seniors from WHS got back from their cruise. They have made lifetime memories and really enjoyed everything. They want to say thanks to all who supported them by buying raffle tickets, butter braids, meals at the ball games, etc. during their high school career!

Cindy and Dave Clark took in the Montana Synod Assembly held in Great Falls this past weekend.

Linda Messerly has been spending some time with Paula Morrison. They came in to the Summer Soiree.

Carol Lumsden has been having a ball since school got out entertaining her grand kids, Ellie, Aubrie, Amus, and Everette. They were also entertaining her!

Loring Lutheran Church will hold services at 11:00 on Sunday with Orvin Solberg delivering the message.
