Independence Bank is pleased to announce the recipients of the Independence Bank New Student Scholarship the 2015-2016 academic year. All of the students will be attending Montana State University-Northern and will receive a $1000 scholarship during their freshman year.
Justin Funk attended Saco High School and plans to major in Agricultural Operations Technology at Northern. His parents are O.D. and Tanya Funk.
Daryl Engelby is graduating from Conrad High School and is planning to major in Civil Engineering Technology with a minor in Business. His family are Terry & Connie Diedrich of Conrad.
Travis Field is graduating from Choteau High School and plans to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Diesel Technology. His parents are Pat and Diane Field of Pendroy.
Brenden Johnson is graduating from Harlem High School and plans to major in Civil Engineering Technology. His parents are Russell and Kerry Johnson.
Lindsey Kudrna is graduating from Havre High School and plans to major in Elementary Education. Her parents are Bruce and Lisa Kudrna.
The IB Scholarship is open to incoming freshman students planning to attend MSU-Northern. To be eligible students must graduate from a high school in Hill, Blaine, Phillips, Valley, Roosevelt, Daniels, Sheridan, Liberty, Choteau, Pondera, Toole, or Teton counties.
