Loring News for week of May 20, 2015

Congratulations to all the Phillips County high school graduates! Keira Simonson, Kourtney Simonson, Kayla Howard and Kaycee Howard are the grads we here at Loring claim! Kameron Johannesen is graduating from eighth grade at Turner!

The track team was in Glasgow for divisional meet on Thursday. Kourtney and Keira Simonson both get to go to state! Mrs. Wasson has several Tracksters heading to Laural on Thursday! Good job!

Many relatives of the seniors were home for the big day! Chad and Leslie Simonson, Jackson and Dylan of Great Falls, Jerry and Susan Simonson and girls, Bryce and Krystal Olson, Abby and Walker, all of Billings, Kiana Simonson and Emilee Phillips and Daughter of Missoula, Ember Phillips of Arizona, the Hallock families of Sheridan, and many Howard family members from the Scobey area were celebrating the accomplishments of the graduates!

Congratulations to Tom and Dixie Stordahl on the birth of their granddaughter, Zoey Jean Stordahl. Dixie made a quick trip to Billings on Saturday to see her.

We spotted a rosy breasted grosbeak and the American goldfinches in our trees this week! My tulips are blossoming! Fun to see a little color!
