Mustangs take seventh at North-East top ten

The Malta Mustangs took eleventh at the North-East Top Ten meet in Glasgow last Tuesday, April 28.

Devon Raybon posted a new personal best at the meet, clearing six feet in high jump, which was good enough for third place. Though 6-00 was the highest height completed, Garfield county’s Connor Murnion and Havre’s Nick Keller completed the height in an earlier attempt.

Jace Bishop took fourth place in javelin after leaving a mark at 153-05, which is his second longest throw of the year.

Tyson Carney took fifth in the javelin with a throw of 151-04, which is his new personal best. Keenan Schipman took eighth in the event with a throw of 142-04.

Jase Galt placed tenth in the triple jump with a length of 38-02.

The long relay team consisting of Ostin Welch, Galt, Carney and Allen Williamson took fourth with a time of 3:34.74.

The short relay team consisting of Welch, Williamson, Carney and Galt took sixth with a time of 47.15.
