Headline: Charlie Stuart began punching cows in '79

We hope no feud come of it but in any event we cheerfully devote this space this week to presenting claims from out friend, Charlie Stuart, old time cowpoke, in a battle of recognition as a cowhand who rode the range before 1883. O'Mally declared he was the only cowhand on record at the Range Riders Reunion at Miles City last summer who was in business in 1883 or before.

..."I was riding for the DHS in 1879. I was in Miles City with a shipment of beef for the DHS in the fall of 1882." – Charles Stuart
