If you use the Saco shooting range, treat it as your own

This is an open letter to those who like to use the Saco shooting range that is operated by the Saco Shootist Society. This is a private shooting range that is operated on private land, owned by, and through the courtesy of 1st Creek Ranch in Saco. Only once were we forced to lock it up due to misuse and vandalism.

It is our job as members to keep the property cleaned up, and the gates in good shape and closed. I was just out this morning and had to repair the bob wire fence that was shot into in 2 places, and clean up the broken glass that somebody left by shooting a computer monitor into many pieces.

As a member, I don't mind policing the area, making minor repairs, and spraying the weeds. I would appreciate it, if those that use it, would take care of it, as if it was their own.

This truly has been an asset for those who wish to check out their different rifles and pistols. Please don't ruin it for those that use it and respect it.
