One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of April 22, 2015

Sympathy to the family of Annie Hofer of the Loring Hutterite Colony.

Lee Jones, Paul and Leona Siewing, the twin boys and myself had dinner at North 40 on April 7.

Congratulations to all participants of the District Music Festival and teachers. Such talent!

Thank Mr. Swingen and Mr. Engebresten – music teachers from Malta – who performed a wonderful music program at the Lutheran Church on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Schumacher were in Whitewater assisting the church service.

Justin Austin of Denver is here to do spring work at the Austin ranch. Janet Brown – my sister – rode from Billings with him and we have had a nice visit this week.

There was a 4-H meeting at the church on Sunday. My children went to 4-H and so did I.

Congratulations to Courtney and Adam Hellie on a successful year of homeschooling children. They (the students) had an “educational outing” at Jeanie Greens. They saw sheep and new lambs. Other home students from Malta also attended the outing, including the Siewings.

Janet Brown – my sister – and other members of family including Gale and Challise Young (my daughter and granddaughter) had dinner at the North 40 on Tuesday (Happy Birthday to me!)

Good luck to school golfers and track meet participants.

Whitewater School Carnival is April 23. There are games, pizza, bingo and lots of fun. All are welcome.

Janet and I walked to the bridge and Whitewater Creek is running and birds are all back.

Bye for now.
