Dodson News for March 17, 2015

Eight ladies from Malta rode the Transit bus to Dodson to enjoy lunch at the Wathatau Center on Thursday. Good to see you girls!

Get well wishes are sent to former Dodson resident Sharon Kienenberger for her recovery. She was to be transferred back to the Malta hospital from Billings on Monday.

Remember the safe driving class for seniors put on by AARP at the Senior Citizens Friday March 27. Must attend morning and afternoon sessions. Call Barb at 654-1616 to sign up and for details.

Birthday wishes are sent to Sharon Munsinger.

It was nice to see the Dodson cemetery was recognized as being 100 years old. Dodson is planning some celebration this summer along with the all school reunion and the Dodson Fair. The first section of Dodson was laid out n 1905 and it was incorporated as a Town in 1915 so has been around for a long time. Herman Dolphay is a good source of information on many of the old things around town as he has lived here about the longest. (Yeah, sorry but I don’t qualify as the oldest old bones still around, just close to it!)

Old people know more about being young than young people know about being old. Have a good day!
