ArtSpot St. Paddy's Day features water color, Monet

On St. Patrick's Day several of you may have went out for a drink to celebrate. Well, several ladies also chose to do that and have a little artistic fun at ArtSpot. Kathy Bagley of Bohns Bones Art Gallery hosted 10 ladies with a short tutorial on water color painting and techniques. The artist we were following as a guideline was Claude Monet and the title of the painting, Gardens at Giverny. We then had a practice sheet with an all green color palette in the holiday spirit. We moved onto a larger piece of paper and a color palette of our choice and free lance creativity. A good time was had by all with the option of enjoying a Colorado Bulldog drink or a piece of Bailey's Irish Cream Chocolate Chip cheesecake.
