AG Day Pie Contest

The PC CattleWomen will be once again hosting their Annual Ag Day Pie Contest. Watch for more information in next week’s paper.

Book Discussion Group

3-12. The Book Discussion Group will meet on Thursday, March 12 -- instead of March 5 -- at 7:00 pm to visit about the title “Bound Like Grass” by Ruth McLaughlin. Please come and visit about the book.

Kiwanis Meeting

3-11 Malta Kiwanis will meet Tuesday, March 17 at 6 p.m. at Westside Cafe. Mr. Leo Barthelmess will give a program explaining the Ranchers Stewardship Alliance. The public is invited.

American Legion Auxiliary

3-12. American Legion Auxiliary Meeting has been changed to Thursday, March 12 at the VFW Club starting at 5 p.m. The meeting will include the election of officers so please attend.

Parent Teacher Conferences

3-18. Wednesday, March 18, is Parent Teacher Conferences at Malta Middle School and Malta High School.

Hours are 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. and Noon – 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary. High school report cards can be picked up at the office. There will be no school for students this day.

Free Mental Health Training

3-16. The Phillips County Hospital will be offering free mental health training on Monday, March 16 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the GN Lodge Room. To sign up, call Fallon Brown at 654-4458.

Phillips County Saddle Club

3-16. The Phillips County Saddle Club monthly meeting is Monday, March 16 at 7 p.m. at the Lucky Bullet.

Little Rockies Youth Conference

3-20. The “Come as You Are” Little Rockies Youth Conference will be held starting on Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. and run through Sunday, March 22 at 2 p.m. For more information contact Ray Harms at 406-301-2440 or Darrell Carney at 406-390-4156.
