Clara Mae Janda

Clara Mae Janda passed away peacefully at her home in Sun City, Arizona. She was 95 years old.

Clara was born in Zortman, Montana and moved to Los Angeles in the early 1940's. She worked at North American Aviation as a bookkeeper where she met Bernard Janda. They were married in September 1945 until his untimely death in 1974. She returned to work at LAX Host International while raising four young sons. She was a devout Catholic and traveled to Rome, Lourdes and Fatima. She enjoyed her family especially during holidays, etc. Her family and friends meant the world to her. No one had a bigger smile than when she saw her loved ones. May she rest peacefully with Our Lord.

She is survived by one daughter Diane (Ron) Zarra and 5 sons - Dennis, Dale (Reesa), Duane, Darrell, Doug (Shawn); granddaughters Joy (Scott) Parrish, Kimberly, & Lauren; grandsons Jay (Krisha) Zarra, Dale Jr (Briana), Garrett, Cameron; great grandchildren - Connor, Leah, Paige & Lily, brother & sister in laws Don & Dorothy Janda, sister-in-laws Judy Janda, Lilly Sharette, Christine Clary and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mass and interment was held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California
