Lady Panthers show versatility in downing of Class B Lady Scotties; Scheffelmear scores 21

The Saco-Whitewater Lady Panthers have swept Class B’s Glasgow Lady Scotties after defeating them 50-26 last Friday.

“It was kind of a test for us. Glasgow did a good job,” Saco-Whitewater Head Coach Amber Erickson told the PCN. “You could really tell they were trying to break our press.”

Glasgow did show improvement in the game however Saco-Whitewater was strong in the paint.

Senior Post-player Larimie Scheffelmear was particularly strong in the paint snatching 23 rebounds, 16 of which were offensive.

Scheffelmear also had a game leading 21 points giving a strong double-double.
