A team of bowlers from this place went to Saco New Year's day and started in the new year by beating the team of that city by a good safe margin in three games. Those going from here were Elliot, Murphy and Strucke. They report a royal good time and say that Saco is "there and over" when it comes to showing a bunch a good time. After the game, a dance was given which was one of the big things this season. C.W. Nelson made a big hit with the bowlers of both teams by appearing at the alleys and posting a sealed envelope marked "for the winning team."
