The Phillips County CattleWomen present books to Phillips County Schools and Libraries

The Phillips County CattleWomen presented two books to the Malta Elementary Librarian as part of their Agricultural education contest that was run in November. Julianne Snedigar, Second Vice President of the Phillips County CattleWomen, presented two additions of Levi's Lost Calf and one of Prairie Sunrise to Malta Elementary Librarian Lynn Nevrivy. She also presented Phillips County Librarian, Janeen Brookie with a copy of Prairie Sunrise. The school libraries of Saco, Whitewater and Dodson will also receive a copy of the Prairie Sunrise.

"Levi's Lost Calf" written by Amanda Radke, a fifth-generation South Dakota rancher, shows young readers what life is like on a cattle ranch in Levi's Lost Calf. Michelle Weber, upcoming Western artist puts this book over the top with her unforgettable illustrations.

"Prairie Sunrise", My Montana Ranch Life, is written by Sierra Dawn as told by her daughter Zora Rose. This book is a photographic diary of one little girl in the wide Montana prairie.
