Dirt Daubers Garden Club Barrel Decorating Contest

As in past years the Malta Dirt Daubers Garden Club sponsored the Barrel Christmas Deco- rating Contest. All of the 80 merchants participating in the barrel program were invited to decorate their barrels for Christmas. Over half did so with a great variety of decorations.

The winning merchants were:

Central Avenue Pit Crew was the 1st place winner of a $50. gift certificate sponsored by Westside Self Service. Their tree decorated with tires caught the eye of the judges with its original design.
