December 13, 14

4:31 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed a welfare check on a male walking along Hwy 2; male may be staying in Trafton Park for the night.

December 14, 14

12:09 a.m. Female reported a juvenile at her residence who had snuck out of his parents’ residence; Deputies responded to the call; juvenile left the female’s residence and was later located on Hwy 191 south of Malta; juvenile later returned to his residence; case file started.

10:55 a.m. Female reported an alarm sounding in the St Mary’s area; all was ok, juvenile had pulled the alarm.

11:28 a.m. Female reported Hwy 191 south was very icy; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation employee.

2:32 p.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle not located.

4:15 p.m. Male reported a possible trespass to property; Undersheriff handled the call.

4:23 p.m. 911 received reporting an individual had been attacked in the Hays area; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

5:44 p.m. Juvenile requested assistance with an individual walking down a residential street who appeared to be intoxicated; caller was concerned the male may hurt himself; Deputy responded to the location; male taken to his residence.

December 15, 14

12:07 p.m. Female reported a situation involving aggressive dogs on the walking trail that happened yesterday; Undersheriff handled the call.

10:22 p.m. Female reported a dead dog on Hwy 2; Deputy responded to the location and removed the dog.

December 16, 14

10:04 a.m. Female reported an IRS scam.

We have been receiving calls reporting telephone calls with people asking for personal information, bank account information and needing to send money to relatives. Another call being received claims to be the IRS. These phone calls are scams, if it seems suspicious DO NOT GIVE any information to the call. Ask for a call back phone number and call them back to see if it is who they are claiming to be. The IRS does not contact people via telephone.

December 17, 14

8:18 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an elderly male who was weak; local EMT Crew responded to the location; patient transported to the hospital.

2:15 p.m. Undersheriff transported one adult male, Ryan Broadbrooks, from Yellowstone Co Detention Center to Phillips Co Jail on a local felony warrant charge.

3:26 p.m. 911 received requesting law enforcement assistance to remove a male passenger from Amtrak; Deputies, local MHP Trooper and a Border Patrol Agent responded to the location; case file started.

6:28 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Ryan Broadbrooks, to Valley Co Detention Center.

9:43 p.m. Female reported dogs running loose and chasing vehicles on a residential street; ACO handled the call.

10:56 p.m. Male reported a missing dog; dog later returned home.

December 18, 14

5:40 a.m. Male reported a semi and trailer partially in the ditch south of Malta on Hwy 191; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the location; local rotational wrecker service responded to the location and pulled the vehicle out of the ditch.

7:55 a.m. Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 11am for most of Phillips Co.

9:15 a.m. Dense Fog Advisory now in effect until 3pm for Phillips Co.

1:43 p.m. Male, William Godinez, incarcerated in PCSO Jail on sentencing for Driving While Suspended and Reckless Driving charges.

2:34 p.m. Dense Fog Advisory is canceled for the Zortman area; remains in effect until 6am Friday for the rest of Phillips Co.

5:45 p.m. Female reported a juvenile being harassed by a male; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

6:13 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy responded to the call; juvenile located and returned to his residence.

8:20 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, William Godinez, to Hill Co Detention Center to serve time on sentencing.

8:32 p.m. Male reported a possibly stolen vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located, parked at the male’s residence.

10:18 p.m. Dense Fog Advisory is canceled for all of Phillips Co.

11:22 p.m. 911 received reporting an erratic vehicle, westbound on Hwy 2, from Dodson; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE and Blaine Co SO.

11:41 p.m. Male reported a crossing arm malfunction at the Dodson railroad crossing; information passed onto BNSF Police.

December 19, 14

12:11 a.m. Deputy reported a light on in the Dodson School; all found to be okay, just had been left on by an employee.

3:55 a.m. Deputy performed security checks on businesses and buildings in the Saco area.

12:46 p.m. Male reported two females walking on Hwy 2 near the Sleeping Buffalo turnoff; local MHP Trooper and Deputy responded to the call; females located with gas cans and taken back to their vehicle.

3:47 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with unwanted family members at her apartment; Deputy responded to the location; individuals advised to stay away from the residence.

3:57 p.m. MHP Trooper requested PCSO assistance with a traffic stop on Hwy 2, near Saco; Deputy responded to the location; situation taken care of without further incident.

5:27 p.m. Male reported a vehicle in the ditch with a male inside, west of Malta, on Hwy 2; Deputy responded to the call; male was having mechanical issues with his pickup; local rotational wrecker service responded to the call.

5:46 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew responded to the call.

6:03 p.m. 911 received reporting an erratic vehicle, westbound, on Hwy 2, from the Saco area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

December 19, 14

10:26 p.m. Deputies assisted local MHP Trooper with serving warrants on two adult females, Jennifer Castronuovo and Erica Sherman, at a local business; both females transported to PCSO to be incarcerated on warrants for Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs.

11:36 p.m. Female requested an ambulance for an elderly female who had fallen; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient not transported to the hospital.

December 20, 14

1:59 a.m. Deputy reported a possible accident in the downtown area; found to be a hit and run to a vehicle; case file started.

2:02 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory in effect from 5am to noon Sunday for Phillips Co.

2:29 a.m. Deputy performed security checks on businesses in the downtown area.

7:16 a.m. Deputy requested KMMR and MT Dept of Transportation be advised the Hwys in Phillips Co were black ice; information passed onto KMMR and MT DOT sent out sanding trucks.

10:45 a.m. Male reported finding property on Hwy 2.

11:52 a.m. Local EMT Crew transported a patient from Great Falls back to the PC Hospital.

2:20 p.m. Reserve Deputy and Matron transported two adult females, Jennifer Castronuovo and Erica Sherman, to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time.

7:48 p.m. Male reported a possible domestic situation at a residence in South Phillips Co; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

9:50 p.m. City employee reported a Hit and Run to a fire hydrant in a residential area; Deputy responded to the location; case file started.

December 21, 14

12:00 a.m. Male reported a commotion near the neighbor’s residence in Dodson; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be quiet and no one around the reported area.

3:00 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until noon today.

9:31 a.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee reported roads were very icy and suggested a no travel warning be put out; information passed onto KMMR.

9:36 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until noon today.

10:05 a.m. Male reported he was stuck on Hwy 2, west of Malta, due to the icy roads; MT Dept of Transportation truck assisted with getting him unstuck.

10:07 a.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle rollover on Hwy 2, near the Sleeping Buffalo; minor injuries to the occupant; Undersheriff and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient not transported to the hospital; case file started.

10:33 a.m. Local Ambulance reported a semi in the ditch off of Hwy 2, east of Malta; Undersheriff responded to the location; information passed onto MHP Dispatch and MHP Trooper responded to the call.

10:33 a.m. Undersheriff requested a wrecker for the one vehicle rollover; local wrecker service responded to the call.

11:46 a.m. 911 received reporting the river hill was very icy and semi trucks were having difficulty getting up the hill; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation.

12:14 p.m. Freezing Rain Advisory has expired.

1:54 p.m. Female reported sliding in the ditch off of Hwy 191 south of Malta; minimal damage to a fence; white form issued.

3:59 p.m. Male reported a gravel truck had lost gravel and caused damage to his windshield.

5:31 p.m. Male reported he had slid off of Hwy 191, south of the Missouri River, vehicle was still in the ditch; information passed onto Fergus Co SO and vehicle would be removed the following day.

7:51 p.m. Male requested a welfare check on a vehicle on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Deputy responded to the location; all found to be okay.

December 22, 14

4:23 p.m. Female reported a computer phone scam.

4:27 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Billings; local EMT Crew responded to the call.

4:29 p.m. Female reported a computer phone scam.

6:26 p.m. Female reported hitting a deer west of Malta, with damage to her vehicle; white form issued.

December 23, 14

8:52 a.m. 911 received reporting a fender/bender near MHS; Undersheriff responded to the call; white forms issued.

9:33 a.m. Lockheed Martin Flight Service requested an ambulance be put on standby for a plane flying into the Malta Airport that was having mechanical issues; Sheriff, Undersheriff, local EMT Crew and Fire Dept responded to the call; plane later advised the mechanical issues had ceased and they were continuing onto the Glasgow Airport; Ambulance and Fire Dept canceled.

1:55 p.m. Male reported suspicious activity and a vehicle near a business in Dodson; Undersheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay, individuals had just stopped to rest.

2:16 p.m. Freezing Rain Advisory in effect from 6am Wednesday until 6am Thursday for most of Phillips Co.

3:39 p.m. Female reported a stray dog near her residence; ACO handled the call.

December 24, 14

3:56 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory now in effect until 6pm for most of Phillips Co.

Please remember to file a new burn permit for the 2015 year. If you plan on doing any burning in 2015, please file one BEFORE you start to burn. These permits are good for all of 2015 and you only have to file one a year, not every time you burn. All 2014 permits will no longer be valid after December 31, 2014. Thank you!
