December 6, 14

12:57 p.m. 911 received reporting a semi hauling hay on Hwy 2, losing hay; vehicle was eastbound from Saco; information passed onto Valley Co.

2:05 p.m. Freezing Rain Advisory in effect from 6pm tonight until noon Sunday.

8:22 p.m. 911 received reporting a bus accident, near a Milk River Bridge on Hwy 2; accident located west of Dodson; Deputies, local EMS and Fire Dept responded to the location; MHP Trooper also responded; two patients transported to the hospital; MHP handled the crash.

8:29 p.m. Deputies advised Hwy 2 was black ice; information passed onto EMS, FD and MHP; MT Dept of Transportation also advised and requested Hwy be sanded.

9:15 p.m. MHS employee responded to the accident location with a bus to transport the individuals, involved in the above accident, to Malta for the night.

9:20 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle in the ditch, with a flat tire, on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputy and local rotational wrecker service responded to the location; female transported to the hospital by Deputy.

10:30 p.m. Freezing Rain Advisory is canceled.

11:36 p.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee reported hitting a deer on the Wagner Hwy; Deputy responded to the location and humanely euthanized the deer.

December 7, 14

1:10 a.m. Female reported a suspicious person near her residence in Dodson; Deputy responded to the location; male not located at the residence or anywhere in Dodson.

3:11 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory in effect until 11am today for most of Phillips Co.

5:27 a.m. 911 received reporting 2 individuals walking on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputy responded to the location; individuals located and advised they had broken down several miles south of the current location; individuals given a ride to a local residence.

9:33 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 11am for most of Phillips Co.

10:54 a.m. Freezing Rain Advisory is canceled.

2:09 p.m. Female reported the Dodson dumpster was on fire; Dodson Fire Dept advised of the call; dumpster found to be smoking, not on fire, all was okay.

4:33 p.m. Local business reported a suspicious bag had been left at their location; Undersheriff responded to the location; all found to be okay and bag was thrown away.

December 8, 14

11:18 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance to pick up the flight crew from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient later transported to the Harlem airport to meet the flight crew; plane could not land in Malta due to the weather.

3:47 p.m. Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 11am Tuesday.

4:52 p.m. Deputy and Reserve Deputy escorted one adult male, Kenneth VanHoesen, from PC District Court, to be incarcerated on sentencing for Negligent Homicide charges.

7:36 p.m. Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 11a.m Tuesday.

December 9, 14

3:00 a.m. Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 11am today for most of Phillips Co.

7:27 a.m. Dense Fog Advisory is canceled.

7:59 a.m. Saco School employee reported a fender/bender near the school; local MHP Trooper handled the call.

1:21 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting property from a Dodson residence; Undersheriff handled the call.

1:36 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Kenneth VanHoesen, to Hill Co Detention to transfer custody to Dept of Corrections.

7:24 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male who passed out at a local residence; Deputies and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient not transported to the hospital.

11:18 p.m. Deputies performed security checks around the Malta and Saco areas.

December 10, 14

12:59 p.m. Female reported a missing dog.

4:01 p.m. Whitewater School employee reported hitting a deer with a school bus; no injuries to occupants; white form issued.

4:02 p.m. 911 received reporting an erratic motorhome in the Lodgepole area; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

8:53 p.m. 911 received reporting an assault on a neighbor; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

9:23 p.m. Female reported a missing dog.

11:51 p.m. Male reported a possible altercation at a residence in Dodson; Deputies responded to the location; all found to be okay, having a dog problem at the residence, nothing else going on.

December 11, 14

1:37 a.m. Local tavern requested a walk-thru of the business; Deputies handled the call.

9:27 a.m. Female filed a verbal traffic complaint about a vehicle speeding on 5th Ave E by the Malta Ready Mix; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and driver cited.

12:41 p.m. 911 received reporting an erratic vehicle on Hwy 2, westbound coming into Malta; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and driver advised.

1:09 p.m. Central Alarm Company reported an alarm sounding at the National Guard Armory; Reserve Deputy responded to the location; all found to be okay.

1:57 p.m. Male reported a semi truck and trailer “barreling through Saco”; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and citation issued.

3:09 p.m. BNSF Police reported a non-hazardous material spill along the railroad east of Malta; they had a crew enroute to clean it up.

3:27 p.m. Male reported a possible magazine subscription scam; Reserve Deputy handled the call.

3:48 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2, east of Malta; all found to be okay, driver had spilled a drink and was cleaning it up.

5:59 p.m. Deputy received a report of dogs chasing vehicles near the PC Courthouse; information passed onto ACO.

8:25 p.m. Local business requested extra patrol around their building; information passed onto Deputies.

8:57 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle with its 4-ways on, west of Malta; all found to be okay, just transporting a female in labor to the Havre hospital; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE, Blaine & Hill Co SOs and MHP Dispatch.

December 12, 14

7:16 a.m. Local MHP Trooper requested PCSO assistance with a traffic stop east of Malta on Hwy 2; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

9:40 a.m. Male reported an oversized load headed north on Hwy 191, south of Malta; load appeared to be a mega load; information passed onto Reserve Deputy and local MHP Trooper.

11:55 a.m. Male reported damage to his vehicle due to pulling over for the wide load; Reserve Deputy and local MHP Trooper handled the call.1:15 p.m. Female reported a missing cell phone.

2:49 p.m. Kenco Security reported a burglar alarm sounding at a local business; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, was accidentally set off.

7:13 p.m. Billings PD served a local warrant on Ryan Broadbrooks for Felony Contempt of Court.
