Rotary Christmas Lights Contest

The Malta Rotary Club is again sponsoring a Christmas Lights contest. Cash prizes will be awarded to the biggest, brightest and best displays.

MHS Christmas Concert

12-18. On Thursday, December 18, the Malta High School will be hosting their Christmas Concert starting at 7 p.m.

Movie/ Santa Hay Ride

12-20. On Saturday, December 20, the Malta Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the annual Movie and Santa Hay Ride day starting at 12:30 p.m. There will also be a $200 button drawing starting at 3 p.m. (Must be present to win.) The movie will be How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the Villa.

Wagon Train Popcorn Ball

12-19. MRWT will be making popcorn balls at the VFW 7 p.m. this Friday, December 19 for the matinee at the Villa. All ballers, baggers, candy-men, cooks and just anyone that wants to help, come on down.

Irrigation Office closed 12-22 through 12-26

12-22 through 26. The Malta Irrigation District office will be closed Dec. 22 thru Dec. 26, 2014. Office will reopen for regular business Monday, December 29, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. Any questions please call (406) 654-1440.

Phillips County Library Closed

12-24 through 28. The Phillips County Library will be Closed from Thursday, December 24, through Sunday, December 28 for the Christmas Holiday.

Story Time Cancelled

12-24&31. Story Time at the Phillips County Library is cancelled for Wednesdays, December 24 and Dec. 31.

Malta City Office Closed

12-25&26. The City Office, Shop and Landfill will be closed on December 25th and 26th for Christmas.
