The transit bus brought six ladies and one gentleman plus the bus driver up to the Whapati Center at Dodson on Thursday for lunch. It was nice to see everyone out for a nice day.
The cold stayed all last week and has really hurt everyone, especially the elders.
The school, thanks to a program researched by Donna Young, delivered the makings for Thanksgiving dinner to elderly families in Dodson on Tuesday..
A Thanksgiving dinner was served to the students and to the public on Wednesday Nov. 19th at the school. Thanks again to everyone involved to make this possible. You are appreciated!
Polly Solberg returned home after spending a couple weeks in Billings and Ismay with sons Tim and Nathan and families.
Temperatures have warmed up some, creating water and ice. Our ground is still sort of water logged from former moisture so is having a hard time absorbing the water. Be careful walking because of the ice.
Wink and Terri Cole had supper in Malta at the GN with son Steve and family on Wednesday. They left Friday to spend time visiting with other family.
Laura Cole was away for medical attention at the agency and in Billings. Because it is Thanksgiving there will be no usual meal at the Whapati center this week.
Jim and Nora Weigand have had their granddaughter visiting for a couple weeks. She plans on returning home after Thanksgiving.
Belated birthday greetings are extended to Steve Tremblay and anniversary greetings are extended to Corky and Bonnie LaBrie.
Old age occurs the moment you realize there isn’t something wonderful about to happen just around the corner. In some people this occurs very soon, in others, not at all.
